What this site does

BestCityQuotes.com is an advertising and referral website. We connect people who are considering a bathroom remodel with a third-party service that collects quote requests and matches them with contractors.

We want to be clear about what we are not. We are not a contractor. We do not perform remodeling work. We do not prepare, review, or approve estimates. We do not employ, license, bond, insure, screen, endorse, or supervise any contractor, and we do not guarantee that any contractor will contact you, that you will receive any estimate, or that any estimate or completed work will be accurate, timely, or satisfactory.

How we are compensated

We are paid a referral fee by our partner when a visitor we refer submits a qualifying quote request. This does not change what you pay. We are not paid by you, and we do not charge you for using this site.

Third-party websites and services

Selecting “Get my free estimate” passes you through our own click tracking system and then to a quote request service operated by Best Quotes Corp, Inc., which is not us. That service has its own terms and its own privacy policy, and your use of it is governed by those, not by these terms. We do not control that service and are not responsible for it, for the contractors it matches you with, or for any agreement you enter into with a contractor.

Any dispute about work performed, pricing, scheduling, or contact you receive is between you and the contractor or the partner service.

Communications

We do not collect your contact information on this site and we do not contact you. If you submit a quote request on the partner’s site, any consent you give there — including any consent to be called or texted, and any consent involving automated dialing — is given to that partner under their terms, and any resulting contact comes from them or the contractors they match you with.

Acceptable use

Please use this site only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, access it by automated means for the purpose of disrupting it, or use it in violation of applicable law.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and marks on this site are owned by us or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aptitude Media Inc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of this site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In particular, and because this is a referral site rather than a service provider, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any contractor or of Best Quotes Corp, Inc., for the quality, price, timeliness, or safety of any work performed, for any estimate given or not given, or for any agreement you enter into with a contractor.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aptitude Media Inc and its officers, directors, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms or of any applicable law. This does not extend to claims arising from our own acts or omissions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas. Nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in small claims court, or from exercising rights your own state’s consumer protection laws give you.

These terms contain no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver. You are not giving up your right to go to court or to participate in a class action by using this site.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
